A Look at My Practice

Unlike other medical professions, in counseling the patient's physical environment has a significant impact on the healing process. Laura Stockford understands the importance of providing patients with a warm, friendly and familiar atmosphere.

I am centrally located in Eugene with plenty of off-street parking. My practice is quiet and comfortable, which is exactly how I hope you will feel. The counseling room is in a quiet, professional building, so you will be certain that what you say during therapy stays between you and your therapist.

I accept most private health insurance and I am on the panels listed below. I am glad to meet you!  Leave me a message to request a one time 15 minute no charge time to consult. Your first appointment will include paperwork and making a plan together. New appointments are usually available within a week.

Payment, including copays for clients who are using health insurance benefits, is due when we meet. Your insurance company will be billed for their portion. There is a 5.00 fee for using credit or debit cards.

I recommend that you call your insurance provider and ask specifically about mental health benefits, whether a deductible applies, what your copay will be. If I am not on your panel, I may be able to apply. When you call, check the back of your insurance card to see if there is a customer service telephone number specifically designated for mental health or substance abuse. 

I am on theses panels: Aetna; Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield; Pacificsource commercial and Pacificsource medicare, MODA, Cigna, Tricare,and Medicare. I can bill Providence , United Medical, and Keizer off panel.
